Live Transfer Guidelines
Only keep your campaign active when you are available to take calls. Pause your campaign when you are not available.
Valid Reasons to Disconnect a Call During Buffer Time
- The prospect is not interested in Final Expense insurance.
- The prospect does not have a checking or savings account and does not use accepted payment alternatives.
- The prospect has major health conditions outside your underwriting guidelines and you do not offer Guaranteed Issue coverage.
Invalid Reasons to Drop a Call
- Asking for payment immediately, such as “Are you going to pay today?”
- Requesting sensitive information like Social Security Number too early in the call
- Asking for banking details at the beginning of the conversation
- Dropping the call because the prospect seems unsure or hesitant
- Ending the call before proper qualification is completed
- Disconnecting without confirming basic eligibility questions
Pricing & Quote Policy
Do not discuss pricing, quotes, or premium ranges during buffer time.
Once pricing is discussed, the call becomes billable, even if it is disconnected within buffer time.
Prospect Intent
All transfers are from consumers who have shown interest in Final Expense coverage.
Agents are encouraged to continue conversations when the prospect is still engaged, even if they are not ready to buy immediately.
